Four Paws Animal Clinic at 1216 Raleigh Road, Chapel Hill, North Carolina.

I've been going to this Four Paws for years. Dr. Smith and her staff are wonderful. I have a new cat who is easily frightened and will hiss and scratch when she feels threatened. Dr. Smith and her staff were very patient and gentle with my cat and kept a great sense of humor. They also were very patient and kind with me! I trust Dr. Smith's knowledge and skill and I like the way she takes her time in explaining my cat's health status and needs and in making sure I understand. I love how responsive the clinic is in scheduling appointments.

Vet Staff never calls you back and seems genuinely annoyed when you have additional questions for them. I had to call them several times to find out his results to his stool sample, in which they didn't even tell me what the results said other than "negative" and what they were fully testing for. Secondly, My dog has had chronic GI problems and the receptionist said "any brand that says bland diet you can give him" when I asked her what brand the VET recommended...(the receptionist handed me a bag of random samples for sensitive food that ultimately led to him vomiting and having to go to the ER...1500$ of a mess; so obviously would have liked to have had the vet call me back (like I asked) rather than leaving it to a receptionist who literally had no idea what she was giving my growing puppy!!) As any pet owner knows that just "any brand" isn't recommended, especially for a growing, not completely developed 7 month old German Shepherd. I will absolutely be taking my business elsewhere as it is apparent they don't think a dog having diarrhea for a month straight is reason enough to call back when you request them to..

Additionally, their prices are insane.
